I enjoyed the traditional feel of the guesthouse. The garden and views to the nearby temple added charm, creating a serene atmosphere. The cozy bar was a nice spot to unwind, and the cocktails were excellent. Checking in was smooth despite initial staff indifference. The showers and toilets were spacious, which made it comfortable. A minor inconvenience was the cold wind blowing through the building during cleaning hours. Also, top bunk beds have gaps where belongings could easily fall. The miso soup and homemade onigiri breakfast for 500 yen was a fantastic deal. Returning after a day out felt like coming home.

Charming Stay with a Serene Atmosphere!

The beautifully traditional ambiance created a tranquil retreat. My bunk bed in the mixed dorm offered privacy with the curtains. Be prepared for some noise, especially at night, but the lovely staff and homemade breakfast options were a true highlight. Bring earplugs for better rest!

What a lovely stay at Guesthouse Toco! The beautiful traditional ambiance made me feel at home, and the garden view was serene. I particularly enjoyed the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the added touch of a free drink at the bar each evening. It was delightful!

The cozy bar was a nice spot to unwind.

My stay was marred by the cramped feeling in the shared dorm. it made the experience uncomfortable. The lack of soundproofing was particularly bothersome. I was constantly disturbed by snoring and early risers. The wifi connection was unreliable, which was frustrating when I needed to check important information.
